Why We’re Updating Our Memberships
With the launch of our new platform, we’re simplifying our tiers and adjusting prices for the first time in over 10 years.
We’ve invested a lot of time and care into building this platform, and our goal remains the same: to give you the best, most motivating language learning experience possible.
How the Changes Work
- The new tiers and prices apply both on Patreon and on our new platform.
- On Patreon, prices do not yet include VAT or sales tax, so your final charge will be higher. On our new platform, all taxes are included — the price you see is the price you pay.
- Combined with our special discount, this means you may actually end up paying less than before while gaining access to more features when you switch your payment method.

Our new Supporter Membership does not include access to interactive exercises. However, as a previous Patreon-member, you will continue to have access to this feature.
By connecting your Patreon account to the membership platform, you automatically gain access to our interactive exercises. If you decide to migrate your payment method, you will be offered the Supporter+ Membership (instead of the regular Supporter Membership), so you can keep access to worksheets even after the switch.
Note that worksheet access will not carry over if you cancel your membership and decide to re-join at a later point, or if you upgrade to a higher level and then downgrade to the Supporter Membership again.

Donor Membership
We are discontinuing the Donor Membership on our new platform. Instead, you can switch to the Conversation Membership, which includes all of your perks. If you’d like to continue supporting Easy German with an additional contribution, you can donate any amount via PayPal.

Currency Options
For simplicity, the tables above only list monthly prices in euros. If you previously paid in a different currency on Patreon, your exact amount may have varied. On the new platform, you can choose to pay in either US dollars or euros, and the final amount may differ depending on your currency selection.
Can I Change My New Tier?
Absolutely! When your switch your payment to our new platform, you’ll have the option to downgrade or upgrade to any of our three new membership levels.
What Happens If You Keep Paying via Patreon
You can continue paying through Patreon and still access your existing perks on the new platform. However, please note:
- New perks and features, including our community events like the 10-Day Challenge and Book Club, are only available to members who fully switch to the new platform.
- Patreon prices remain VAT-exclusive, meaning the final amount you pay will be higher than the listed price:
- Supporter+ Membership: €6.99 + VAT
- Learner Membership: €14.99 + VAT
- Conversation Membership: €39.99 + VAT
