The Easy German Discord Community
As a member, you get access to our Easy German Discord server. It’s a place where thousands of learners and fans of Easy German meet every day to chat in German. You’ll find many channels on different topics—travel, food, music, books or more. It’s also a great place to find language partners, and connect with other learners.
Special Projects and Challenges
From time to time, we host activities in the Discord community such as our 30-Day Challenge or the Easy German Book Club. These are a fun way to stay motivated and learn together.
No Pressure to Participate
You can be as active as you like—join the conversation every day, or just drop in when you have time. It’s a flexible way to keep German in your life without stress.

Joining is simple: once you’re a member, simply connect your membership account with Discord.

- Be respectful and friendly We are here to have a good time and learn German together. Please be respectful and treat others the way you want to be treated. ❤️
- Respect the Discord Community Guidelines If you join our Discord server you agree to adhere to the official Discord Community Guidelines.
- Avoid inappropriate language Swearwords can be interesting when learning a language and you are welcome to debate them in the #sprache channel, however, any derogatory language addressed at others in this group is prohibited.
- Don't spam Please don't send a lot of small messages right after each other, so that the chat flow won't be interrupted. Please also don't spam other members with direct messages. If you contact someone and you do not receive an answer, they might just not like to engage in private messages.
- No pornographic/adult/other NSFW material This is a community server and we don't accept any adult content.
- Direct messages By default you can receive direct messages by other members of any Discord server. You can disable this option in the privacy settings of your account.
- No advertisements You are welcome to share your favorite resources for learning German, may it be other YouTube channels, podcasts or apps, as long as those are personal recommendations and you are not affiliated with the business.
- No offensive names and profile pictures You will be asked to change your name or picture if our team considers them inappropriate.
- Removals We reserve the right to remove members from this discord server if they do not behave respectfully towards other members.
All channels will have pinned messages explaining what they are there for and how everything works. If you don't understand something, feel free to ask in the #ask-for-help channel!
